Data Protection: We understand the value of your data, and we treat it with the utmost respect. Our apps are designed to minimize data collection to only what is necessary for their functionality.
Data Egress: With the exceptions of Project Labels and Cloud Workflows, all of our apps are based on Atlassian’s Forge platform with minimal data egress. That means, wherever possible, we take architectural decisions that make it impossible for us to read your data. And even with the two aforementioned Connect apps, we still never export any data from your instance unless absolutely required to perform an app's basic function.
Data Storage: We try to minimize the amount of data we store as much as possible, but of course some data needs to be persisted. Mostly this pertains to configuration data or, in the case of PII Protection for Jira and PII Protection for Confluence, information about security findings. We store all data in the Atlassian host products themselves, in the form of entity properties or using Forge Storage.
